MEDICAL PROJECT FOR VICTIMS OF MINE EXPLOSION INJURIES "THE PHOENIX WAY"

Illustration

Assisting Ukrainians with injuries from explosive devices is an urgent issue faced by both local and international organizations and foundations today. Injuries and trauma resulting from explosions are significantly different from other types of injuries and, according to medical experts, require meticulous medical supervision, modern diagnostics, and long-term rehabilitation.
Observations indicate that Ukrainian society was unfortunately unprepared for the sharp increase in victims of explosive devices, neither morally nor psychologically. This daily results in new cases of stigmatization, discrimination and neglect of this vulnerable group, especially in front-line areas or recently liberated regions. This, in turn, leads to disunity, depression, moral decline, and an increase in conflicts among the people.
The Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining is launching the inclusive medical project "The Phoenix Way," aimed at supporting, assisting in the recovery of people with mine explosion injuries, and facilitating their comfortable integration into society. We invite Ukrainian and international rehabilitation centers and organizations specializing in similar assistance to join the initiative, specifically if you:● Can offer free rehabilitation for victims of explosive injuries.● Provide psychological support.● Assist with prosthetics for the injured.
We offer our partners informational support, access to participate in partner events, and involvement in international grants and funding programs for victim assistance. To improve difficult situation, we invite businesses and individual specialists to join forces and create a strong and reliable front for supporting and rehabilitating our fellow citizens who have suffered psychological and physical injuries due to the hostile actions of the aggressor country.
